 The IIM Bangalore MBA admission process for 2027 will consider candidates based on their academic qualifications, professional credentials and performance in CAT 2026. The institute will shortlist eligible candidates based on its prescribed admission criteria.

**IIM Bangalore MBA 2027 Eligibility**

Candidates applying for the MBA programme must meet one of the following basic requirements:

- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories require a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates with professional qualifications in areas such as finance, cost management or corporate governance, including CA, CS and CMA, may also be eligible.

**CAT 2026 Shortlisting**

IIM Bangalore will prepare an initial shortlist of candidates who meet the required minimum CAT 2026 scores across all sections. Candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round will generally need to meet higher CAT score thresholds.

The final selection will be based on the institute's prescribed admission criteria and evaluation process.
