Nursing admissions in India for the academic year 2026–27 will include several important updates that students must be aware of. NEET is becoming mandatory for many B.Sc Nursing and allied health science courses across top institutions, making early preparation essential. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing 45–50% marks, and must be at least 17 years of age by the time of admission. Applicants should also prepare for major entrance exams such as AIIMS B.Sc Nursing, Military Nursing Service (MNS), and state-level exams like KCET for Karnataka.

Most application processes begin between late 2025 and mid-2026, with classes typically starting from mid-2026. Students are advised to regularly check official notifications from leading institutions such as AIIMS, MNS, Kristu Jayanti, RGUHS, and IGNOU to stay updated on deadlines, eligibility, and exam schedules. Strong preparation in Class 12 subjects—Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English—will be crucial for securing admission into top nursing colleges across India.
